A 6-Week Study Plan for Any Associate-Level IT Exam

19 October 2026 · 2 min read

Associate-level exams such as AZ-104, SAA-C03 and CCNA reward steady, hands-on preparation. This six-week plan assumes about 8–10 hours of study a week alongside a job.

Weeks 1–2: Cover the official objectives

Download the exam skills outline from the vendor website. Work through each domain using official learning paths or your training batch, and tick off each objective as you finish it.

Weeks 3–4: Hands-on labs

Build what you study. Create virtual networks, configure identity and access, deploy virtual machines and break things on purpose to learn how to fix them. Most exam questions are scenarios, and labs are how you learn to reason through them.

Week 5: Timed mock exams

Take full-length practice tests under exam conditions. Review every wrong answer and write down why the correct option is right. Use reputable practice tests, never leaked exam questions.

Week 6: Revise and book

Want structure and accountability? Our trainer-led batches follow this rhythm with labs and mock exams included.
