Most IT certification exams can be taken either online from home with a remote proctor, or at an authorised test centre. Both give you exactly the same certification. The experience is what differs.

Online proctored exams

• You need a quiet, private room, a clear desk and a working webcam and microphone.
• A stable internet connection is essential. Run the vendor’s system test a day before.
• You show your room on camera before starting, and a proctor watches throughout.
• No phones, notes, second monitors or other people in the room.

Test centre exams

• The centre provides the computer and a controlled environment.
• Arrive 15–30 minutes early with a valid government photo ID that matches your registration name.
• Good choice if your home setup or internet is unreliable.

Which should you choose?

If you have a quiet room and reliable internet, online exams are convenient and offer more time slots. If you worry about interruptions or connectivity, a test centre removes that risk. Hyderabad has several authorised centres, and we can help you pick one near you.
